Job summary

Honor Plastics & Molding is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to create and optimize programs for plastic machining and secondary operations. The role emphasizes precision, documentation, and collaboration with engineering teams to manufacture custom parts and tools.

The candidate should have 3–5 years in CNC multi-axis machining, be proficient in reading blueprints, and comfortable with ISO G&M coding, setup, and operation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in CNC multi-axis machining and process development.
• Ability to read blueprints and translate engineering drawings into CNC programs.
• Proficient in ISO G&M code level programming, debugging and optimization.
• Experience set-up and operation of CNC mills/turns/grinders with high precision.

Responsibilities

• Create and improve CNC programs for plastic machining parts and secondary operations.
• Develop, test, and optimize machining methods for plastic parts via CNC programming and setup.
• Set up and operate CNC machines ensuring precision and quality.
• Collaborate with engineers and machinists to design and produce custom parts/tools.
• Maintain detailed documentation of CNC programs and modifications.
• Adhere to safety standards and stay updated on CNC trends and advancements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and quality.
• Maintain on-time deliveries and uphold quality control procedures.
