Qualifications

• 3–5 years of CNC programming and machining experience.
• Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, Gibbs CAM.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for production machining.
• Program CNC mills, lathes, and/or machining centers.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Create efficient toolpaths using CAD/CAM software.
• Select tooling, feeds, speeds, and work holding methods.
• Set up and prove out CNC programs and adjust as necessary.
• Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machining problems.
• Optimize programs to improve cycle times, tool life, efficiency, and part quality.
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers and quality personnel.
• Perform first-piece inspections and adjust programs as needed.
• Maintain programs, setup sheets, tooling information, and related docs.
• Follow safety and quality procedures.
