Job summary

Trillium Staffing Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist in Madison Heights, MI on the first shift (6am-3:30pm). Pay starts at $16 per hour, with higher rates ($21-26/hr) for candidates with 5 years of experience, capable of creating parts from blueprints using CNC Mill, Lathe, and manual machines.

Must be able to perform basic math without a calculator, and be mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn. Prior job-shop metalworking experience and FANUC programming are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have long-term manufacturing experience, preferably in metal environment (gear cutting, manual mill or lathe).
• Mechanically inclined and willing to learn.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings.
• 5 years' experience; able to create parts from blueprint using CNC Mill, Lathe and manual machines; higher pay based on experience ($21–$26/hr).
• Fanuc programming on controls preferred.
• Job shop experience a plus; preferred machines include Clausing, Sharp Mill, DMG lathe and Bridgeport mill.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and create parts from CNC Mill, Lathe and manual machines.
• Operate CNC equipment in a small-run environment (1–10 pieces) and ensure quality.

Trillium Staffing has a Direct hire opportunity for a CNC Machinist in Madison Heights, MI.

This is a first shift position 6am-3:30pm and includes an excellent benefits package. Pay is based on experience solid work history no experience $16 per hour depending on math and mechanical skill. More exerience see below.

Preferred requirements:

• Must have previous long-term manufacturing experience - preferably in a metal's environment, gear cutting, manual mill or lathe
• Must be mechanically inclined and willing to learn.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings
• 5 years' experience, must be able to create part from blueprint using CNC Mill, Lathe and manual machines. (this level will be at a higher payrate and based on experience$21-26per hr) These positions will be doing 1-10 piece runs and is not a production shop.
• Program on Fanuc controls preferred.
• Job shop experience a plus. CNC Machines preferred are Clausing and Sharp Mill, DMG lathe and Bridgeport manual mill.
