  • Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar).
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T, and technical specifications.
  • Select tooling, fixtures, cutting parameters, and machining strategies for a variety of materials including aluminum, steel, titanium, and composites.
  • Perform first-article inspections and verify finished parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to improve part quality, cycle times, and repeatability.
  • Collaborate with engineering to improve part manufacturability, tooling, and machining processes.
  • Assist in the design and fabrication of fixtures, jigs, prototype tooling, and composite molds.
  • Maintain machine tools, organize tooling, and ensure a clean, safe, and efficient machine shop.
  • Support prototype development and engineering projects requiring custom one-off or low-volume machined components.
WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time, on-site position. Standard hours begin at 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with an expected 50+ hour workweek. Additional overtime and occasional weekend work may be required to support production and project schedules. Overtime is paid in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.
