Responsibilities for CNC Machinist, Setup, Programmer/Operator

1. Set up and program Lathes with live tooling.
2. Read technical drawings and set up machines according to blueprints.
3. Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines.
4. Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet specifications.
5. Adjust machine settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
6. Consider tools required for different materials and program machines accordingly.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve machine problems.
8. Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening.
9. Train new employees on CNC machine operation and programming.
10. Maintain production pace to meet schedules efficiently.

Schedule

1. 12-hour shifts - 3 days a week (flexible hours), Friday-Sunday.
2. 4 x 10-hour shifts - Monday through Thursday.
3. Overtime available upon request.

Experience

1. 5+ years in CNC Lathe or Mill operation, setup, and programming.
2. Leadership experience preferred.
