Job summary

MarathonNorco Aerospace, Inc. in Waco, TX, is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer / Technician to independently develop and execute machining processes for complex aerospace components from engineering drawings to production release.

You will program 2- to 5-axis mills and multi-axis mill-turn and Swiss setups, optimize toolpaths, perform proves, and guide shop personnel on proper machining practices to ensure high precision and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years CAD/CAM programming in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with manual machines, CNC lathes and milling centers, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs using CAM software and create toolpath strategies.
• Program 2- to 5-axis operations including live tooling and Swiss-style components.
• Set up machines, establish work coordinates, and prove-out new programs.
• Select tools, workholding, and cutting parameters for each job.
• Improve processes to reduce cycle time and extend tool life.
