Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical trade education or associates degree preferred.
• Familiarity with computer software and MS Office is beneficial.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD files.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Program, set-up, and operate high-speed multi-axis CNC vertical mills and turning centers.
• Read blueprints and CAD files to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Create and modify CNC programs and set up machines for new or existing programs.
• Identify tooling and fixturing needs; manage tool purchases.
• Perform daily and monthly preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Evaluate programming and equipment efficiencies for improvements.
• Conduct first article CNC part validation.
• Operate secondary machining equipment and use hand tools as needed.
