Job summary

R. A. Zweig, Inc. is seeking a CNC Programmer – Setup to support our Illinois operations. The role involves assisting operators in setup, interpreting work instructions, and ensuring accuracy of parts and processes.

Ideal candidates will have Mazak Mazatrol experience, blueprint-reading skills, and familiarity with ISO/TS/AS standards. Responsibilities include ensuring safety and meeting productivity targets while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

Experience on Mazak with Mazatrol Control.
Experience with super alloys a plus.
Own basic inspection gages (Micrometer, Caliper).
Familiarity with ISO/TS/AS requirements a definite plus.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Measuring the parts.

Responsibilities

Assists and trains operators in setup and operation of tasks.
Interprets and communicates manufacturing operations and work instructions.
Reads drawings and performs assembly duties as needed.
Uses assembly tools and adjusts settings as required.

CNC Programmer – Setup

Assists and trains operators in setup and how to run various operations; Interprets and communicates all manufacturing operations and work instructions for the area;
Provides assistance in assessing worker job performance and may provide performance coaching and feedback;
Assists in ensuring that all safety standards are met;
Assists in ensuring that all productivity and efficiency standards are met;
Reads and interprets drawings; performs assembly duties in the assigned areas as needed;
Uses all assembly tools in the assigned area of responsibility and changes settings as required;
