The role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment to manufacture precision components, collaborating with design and production to meet deadlines and stringent quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CNC programming experience, Mastercam proficiency, and strong knowledge of tool and die, fixtures, CMM inspection, and blueprint interpretation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience in engineering.
• 2- or 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Mastercam programming.
• Experience with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Extensive knowledge of tool and die, including fixture and tooling creation/modification.
• Experience with CMM inspection and validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write CNC programs using Mastercam for diverse parts.
• Set up and operate CNC machines to ensure quality parts.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers/micrometers and CMM where applicable.
• Create and modify fixtures and tooling per requirements.
• Troubleshoot machines and programs to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
