Job summary

Pyrotek is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to program, set up, and optimize CNC Mills, Waterjets, and Textile Cutters. You will interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to plan effective machining processes, ensuring first-run success and ongoing production efficiency.

You will use Mastercam, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling tools, train staff, and collaborate with engineering and production to resolve issues while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer-Integrated Machining or equivalent.
• Experience as CNC programmer or machinist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and prove CNC programs for mills, routers, waterjets, and textile cutters.
• Interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, machining parameters, and GD&T to plan processes.
• Set up machines, configure tooling and offsets, verify program accuracy via first-run machining.
• Use Mastercam, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling tools to develop machining programs.
• Troubleshoot machining issues, adjust programs, and maintain quality standards.
