The role involves interpreting engineering drawings, creating MasterCam programs, and collaborating with production and engineering teams.

The position requires strong math skills, ability to read drawings, and hands-on setup experience.

Qualifications

• Competent in shop math including algebra and trigonometry.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain high-quality production.
• Strong written and verbal communication with limited guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop G-code CNC programs for mills and lathes using MasterCam.
• Create 3D models in SolidWorks as needed for programming.
• Assist operators with initial run setup and troubleshooting to improve productivity.
• Work with engineers to develop fixtures and optimize machining methods.
• Lay out tool setup sheets and shop floor procedures with clear instructions.
