Job summary

ReLogic Research, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – CNC Programmer to join a tight-knit team supporting national defense.

You will work with senior engineers and machinists to learn the full process from CAM programming through production support, ensuring parts are manufactured to design with high quality. The role emphasizes understanding how design intent translates into machining strategy in a high-mix aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of CNC machining or related technical experience.
• Basic understanding of CNC feeds, speeds, and tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and GD&T.
• Eagerness to learn CAM programming and process planning on the shop floor.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Eligible for an Active Secret security clearance or able to obtain one.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs for aerospace components under supervision.
• Learn process planning, operation sequencing, setup strategy, and tooling selection.
• Support in creating setup sheets and routing documentation.
• Assist in proving out jobs on the shop floor with machinists.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce setup times and improve repeatability.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and production bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and best practices.
• Collaborate with machinists, quality, and engineering to ensure production readiness.
