Howmet Aerospace Inc. is hiring a CNC Programmer/ Manufacturing Automation Tech in Dover, NJ. The role focuses on programming and maintaining automated CNC finishing processes, documentation, and operator training for Mori-Seiki and related equipment.

The position is on-site with a strong emphasis on reliability and process improvements. The candidate will support automation cells, develop fixtures, read drawings, and optimize machining parameters to enhance productivity.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in engineering/manufacturing environment with hands-on automation experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Experience evaluating automated equipment and solving related issues.
• Preferred tooling background.
• Preferred DMG MORI 5-axis programming with Siemens controller.
• Preferred DMG MORI 4-axis programming with Mitsubishi controller.
• Probing macros development for Siemens and Mitsubishi controllers.

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing support for CNC finishing and automation.
• Maintain and improve reliability and productivity of automated equipment.
• Program and document code for manufacturing automation.
• Lead as SPA for automation equipment and process operations.
• Oversee CNC programming PMs and operator training for Mori-Seiki, Water Jet and Spin Blast.
