Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer in Springfield, NJ to join a leading manufacturing company. You will program using Mastercam, work with engineers and operators to ensure production needs are met, and manage tooling, fixtures, and setup sheets.

CAD work in Solidworks and operation across Okuma/Hass/Mazak/FANUC controls will be required. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, perform first run prove outs, and revise programs to optimize efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience programming CNC using Mastercam.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/specifications.
• Experience with 2-3 axis mill/turning and multiple CNC machines (Okuma/Hass/Mazak/FANUC).
• Solidworks CAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with Manufacturing Manager, Machine Operators, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, and Production Control to produce programs and meet production needs.
• Programming in Mastercam.
• Handle 2-3 axis mill/turning processes and multiple CNC machines (Okuma/Hass/Mazak/FANUC).
• CAD in Solidworks.
• Read, analyze, and interpret blueprint drawings/specifications.
• Select tools and fixtures (end mills, drills, inserts, fixtures).
• Organize and maintain programs, setup sheets, and revisions.
• Conduct first run prove outs with operator or independently.
• Revise programs to correct errors or improve performance.
