The position focuses on creating, reviewing, and optimizing CNC programs for milling operations to ensure precision, efficiency, and safety. The ideal candidate will read blueprints, select tooling, set up and test programs, and collaborate with machinists and engineers to improve processes and maintain high quality.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC programming experience and machining operations.
• Experience with production or job-shop environments.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and specs.
• Understanding of tooling, materials, feeds and speeds, and setup.
• Detail-oriented with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Preferred certification or associate degree in machining or related field.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints for CNC programs.
• Select tooling and machining methods.
• Set up and test CNC programs on equipment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize processes.
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production staff to improve processes.
• Support continuous improvement and quality standards.
