Job summary

MB PRECISION INC is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate, set up, and monitor a range of machines, following blueprints and job orders to produce precise parts. You will maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and uphold a safe, efficient work environment.

The ideal candidate brings prior manufacturing experience, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while collaborating with peers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to program, set up, operate, and run HAAS CNC machine.
• Read blueprints or job orders and make minor adjustments as needed to fulfill requirements.
• Experience programming in Mastercam.
• Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements.
• Excellent attention to detail, good verbal communication skills and ability to use good judgment.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints or job orders and make adjustments to equipment as needed, often with precision tools.
• Set controls of feed, speed, and depth of cut without supervision.
• Understand and apply optimal work-holding techniques.
• Check final products for accuracy, and make adjustments to machines as needed to ensure the best final product.
• Conduct basic maintenance and repairs on equipment in your care.
• Must be able to set tooling and apply offsets.
