Job summary

Axis Automation is seeking a CNC Programmer/Machinist to lead multi-project machining, program CNC machines, and run several machines in parallel. The role requires Haas vertical milling experience and MasterCam proficiency, with 3–10 years CNC background.

The standard schedule runs ten hours per day, Monday to Friday, 6:00am–4:30pm with overtime after 40 hours; a high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required. Axis emphasizes safety, quality checks, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years CNC experience.
• 1–3 years programming in 2D/3D.
• Proficiency with Haas vertical mills required.
• Willingness to work up to 48 hours per week.
• High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Execute multiple projects and coordinate machining activities.
• Produce programs for CNC machines.
• Run multiple CNC machines simultaneously.
• Ensure internal quality checks prior to release/shipment.
• Coordinate with Machining Manager to follow schedules and labor requirements.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
• Maintain day-to-day equipment operation.
• All other duties as assigned.
