Job summary

Delkor Systems is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer / Machinist to support the machine shop in programming parts with CAM software. You will collaborate with Machinists, Engineering, and the Scheduler to optimize methods, set up tooling, and improve producibility.

The role emphasizes safe, efficient machining and maintaining tooling and fixtures. Qualified candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing, a CAD/CAM background (CAMWorks preferred), and proficiency in SolidWorks and GD&T.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in manufacturing with CNC/CAM programming.
• Experience with CAMWorks preferred; knowledge of CAD/CAM tools.
• Strong reading of engineering drawings and GD&T basics.
• Proficiency with Excel and data management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Program and set up machined parts using CAM software for cost efficiency.
• Determine best machining methods and select materials/tools.
• Create and maintain setup sheets and CAM parameters with machinists.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Scheduling to meet due dates.
• Ensure safe, high quality parts and maintain equipment.
