Job summary

Specialized Talent Acquisition Recruiting Team (START) seeks skilled CNC Machinists/Programmers in Michigan to join a family-owned Tier 1 supplier. The role includes Tebis programming, operating Makino/Fidia/DMG machines, and working with Heidenhain or Fanuc controls.

Physical duties include lifting up to 50 lbs and crane/forklift operation. Requires 3–5 years of programming experience and knowledge of CAD/CAM workflows, 2D/3D tooling, and manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum three to five years experience programming with Tebis preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in plastic injection molds.
• Experience running Makino, Fidia, or DMG machines.
• Experience or knowledge of Heidenhain and Fanuc controls.
• Ability to perform set-ups and operate 2D/3D CAD/CAM workflows.
• Background in laser tool settings and machine macros.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC machines for 2D and 3D parts.
• Set up machines and verify tolerances from CAD drawings.
• Interpret blueprints and CAD/CAM toolpaths for accuracy.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with oils and lubricants.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts when required.
