Job summary

Cumberland Additive, Inc. is seeking a CNC Programmer & Machinist to operate and maintain CNC equipment in an additive manufacturing environment. You will read blueprints, program and set up 3-5 axis CNC mills using Mastercam, adjust cutting paths, and perform quality checks on AM parts.

Routine maintenance and troubleshooting are expected. The role requires extensive experience in manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years experience as MasterCam CNC Programmer for 3, 4, & 5 Axis CNC Mills.
• 15 years experience as a 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC Mill Machinist.
• Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.
• Ability to collaborate with AM Engineers.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Must be a US Citizen or permitted to work in the US; ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

CNC Programmer & Machinist

CNC Programmer & Machinist to operate and maintain CNC equipment in an additive manufacturing environment. In the position of CNC Programmer & Machinist, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, collaborating with AM Engineers, MasterCam CNC 3, 4, & 5 Axis CNC Mill programming, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. You will also be required to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues that arise during the manufacturing process. To ensure success as a CNC Programmer & Machinist, you should have extensive experience working in manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision. CNC Programmer & Machinist Responsibilities:
