Job summary

TAIT in Lititz, PA is seeking a CNC Programmer I to create and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam, read blueprints, and support production with efficient tooling and process methods.

You will work on Friday–Sunday overnights 5pm–5am or other shifts for training. Requires High School diploma or trade school, 1–3 years CNC programming (or 5+ years machining), and proficiency with math and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school graduate.
• 1–3 years CNC programming experience or 5+ years machining experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in mathematics.
• Experience with AutoCAD, MASTERCAM, and Feature CAM is a plus.
• Familiarity with G&M code and milling environments is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines using MASTERCAM from solid models and drawings.
• Read blueprints to meet quality standards and document processes.
• Develop manufacturing documentation and share with operators.
• Assist in tooling selection and process development for production.
• Work with level 2 programmers on CAM standards and methodologies.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area; track labor hours in Epicor.
