Job summary

Precision of New Hampton is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to design, program, and produce precision components in our torque converter re-manufacturing operation. This hands-on role covers the entire manufacturing process from concept to final production.

You will develop and troubleshoot CNC programs for Mills, Lathes, and EDM Wire Cutters, read engineering prints, and collaborate with production teams to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC programming experience (G-Code)
• Knowledge of CAD software
• Ability to read and interpret engineering prints
• Solid understanding of CNC machine setup and operation
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• A proactive mindset with a desire to be involved in multiple aspects of manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full product lifecycle: preliminary design, part fabrication, and final production
• Develop, write, maintain, and troubleshoot CNC programs for Mills, Lathes, and EDM Wire Cutting machines
• Collaborate on design ideas and implement them into detailed drawings
• Work closely with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes
• Set up and run CNC equipment as needed
