Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer in South El Monte, CA to advance our milling and turning operations. You will program CNC Mill and Lathe using Fanuc controls, read blueprints, and collaborate with engineering to develop new processes, while ensuring quality and safety standards.

You'll mentor junior staff, implement lean practices, and maintain equipment with proactive troubleshooting. A manufacturing technology degree or equivalent certification is helpful.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer with Fanuc systems knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Experience with Inventor CAM, Fusion 360, Mastercam X9.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is preferred.
• Understanding of machining processes including electrical discharge machining.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC Mill & Lathe machines to produce components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Utilize Fanuc controls for programming and operation of CNC machinery.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop new machining processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measures.
• Train junior staff on CNC programming techniques and best practices.
