Job summary

You will submit the first Article to Quality Control and adjust based on CMM reports, ensuring all programs and fixtures are error-free for production. Strong precision and math skills are required.

Qualifications

• Education/experience as CNC Machinist with relevant programming and machining skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications for NC programs.
• Proficiency in setting up machines and verifying first articles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and specifications to determine program input data.
• Calculate starting coordinates, fixture sizes, and tool paths.
• Program using Gibbs CAM and manual programming at the machine.
• Set up machines, run production, and verify dimensions with CMM.
