Insight Global is partnering with a large aerospace company in Gardena, CA to hire a skilled CNC Programmer. This direct-hire role supports the programming team and drives continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of CNC programming in aerospace or manufacturing, proficiency with Mastercam, SolidWorks, ESPRIT, Delcam and Vericut, and experience with CNC Lathe/Mill/Wire EDM. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Formación

• 4+ years of CNC programming experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of CNC Lathe, CNC Mill, or Wire EDM machines (minimum of 3 axis)
• 3+ years of experience with Mastercam, SolidWorks, ESPRIT, Delcam and/or Vericut
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Responsabilidades

• Performs CNC programming for production equipment by translating product design criteria into machine requirements.
• Develops complex or revised non-standard CNC programs for CNC lathe, mill or wire EDM, including 3-axis operations.
• Uses SolidWorks, ESPRIT, Delcam and Vericut to model components and program CNC machines to minimize crashes and downtime.
• Designs fixtures, tools, jigs, and special equipment for CNC applications.
• Conducts tooling and program design reviews to reduce cost and cycle times while increasing first pass yield.
• Prepares shop process manuals and supervises the process validation portion of new programs.
• Assists in training operators on new CNC equipment and programs.
• Communicates with manufacturing engineers and plant personnel to coordinate efforts.
• Leads initiatives with new machines/software and documentation within the department.
• Reviews defects from machining processes and implements corrective actions to improve quality and safety.
• Maintains a continuous improvement attitude for all CNC programs and processes.
