Job summary

Brinkman Products, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for our manufacturing processes in Rochester, NY. The role requires interpreting drawings, selecting tooling, and ensuring quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

You will set up machines, run tests, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with engineering to meet production schedules. A strong CAD/CAM background and attention to detail are essential; we offer a $5,000 signing bonus and

Qualifications

Experience programming CNC machines.
Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and tooling selection.

Responsibilities

Develop, modify, and optimize CNC machine programs using CAD/CAM software.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models to develop accurate machining programs.
Determine appropriate tooling, feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters.
Set up machines and support the implementation of new or revised programs.
Perform test runs, verify program accuracy, and inspect finished parts for quality.
Troubleshoot programming and machining issues and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and production to meet schedules and goals.
Identify opportunities to improve machining processes and reduce waste.
