Job summary

Emerge is recruiting for a direct-hire CNC Blanking Programmer in Rochester, NY, for a custom metal fabrication manufacturer. You will develop and maintain programs and libraries for CNC equipment, including turret punches, lasers, and press brakes, while supporting unattended production and process control documentation.

The role requires 3+ years CNC programming experience, proficiency in Amada/Mazak software, and strong CAD modeling with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain programs and libraries for CNC fabrication equipment and related automation
• Evaluate and resolve technical non-conforming material reports
• Provide hands-on technical support to operators, maintenance staff, engineers and supervisors across all shifts
• Identify opportunities for unattended learning out operation and support them through programming
• Review and close out action items from pre-production reviews
• Serve as a backup in developing manufacturing process control documentation for fabricated products
• Perform other duties as assigned

Emerge is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a direct hire CNC BlankingProgrammer job in Rochester, NY for our client, a custom metal fabrication manufacturer of quality consumer, warehousing, and distribution products. In this role, you will develop and maintain programs and libraries for CNC fabrication equipment, including turret punches, lasers, combination turret/laser machines and press brakes, along with related automation. You will provide technical support to team members across all shifts and help drive unattended "lights out" production through programming. You will also resolve non-conforming material issues and support pre-production reviews. The salary range for this position is $70,000-$85,000 based on experience, plus an excellent benefits package.

• Working knowledge of Amada and Mazak programming software preferred, including Radan and Dr. Abe Bend
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong 3D modeling skills in SolidWorks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Exceptional attention to detail
