You will program, setup and operate advanced CNC machines to produce precision components for autonomous platforms, collaborating with engineers to ensure manufacturability and rapid production cycles.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in programming and setup across multi-axis and 5-axis systems, with strong GD&T knowledge and toolholding design skills for high-tolerance parts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years programming CNC machines using CAM software.
• 5+ years setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines.
• Strong knowledge of G and M codes and controls (Fanuc/Siemens/Brother).
• GD&T principles and experience with high-precision machining.
• Ability to design tooling, fixturing, and workholding solutions.
• Experience transitioning from R&D prototyping to production.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models to develop precise CNC programs.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines with CAM software.
• Design and implement custom workholding and fixturing.
• Operate 5-axis mills and multi-tasking machines to deliver components.
• Troubleshoot, adjust programs, and optimize processes for quality.
• Perform in-process and final GD&T checks and inspection.
• Collaborate with engineers for manufacturability and rapid cycles.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety and compliance.
