Job summary

Qualifications

CNC Mill 5-Axis Programmer – San Jose, CA

This is a hands‑on technical role responsible for developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting advanced CNC programs for complex 5‑axis machining applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving machining efficiency, supporting production teams, and delivering high‑quality components for demanding end markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for complex 5-axis milling applications
• Create machining strategies from CAD models, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
• Support machine setup, first article inspections, and production troubleshooting
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to resolve technical challenges
• Drive process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency
• Maintain accurate program, tooling, and setup documentation

Your Profile

• 7+ years of CNC machining experience with strong 5-axis programming expertise
• Proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam, Siemens NX, Fusion 360, or similar
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tooling, and machining best practices
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes in a production environment
• Experience within aerospace, defense, medical device, semiconductor, or other high-precision industries is preferred
