Job summary

You will interpret drawings with GD&T, select tooling and cutting parameters, generate setup sheets, and verify programs with Vericut. Collaboration with Manufacturing Eng, Tooling, Quality and Production is essential to reduce cycle times and scrap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of CNC Programming experience.
• Strong knowledge of 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling and turning.
• Proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam, CATIA, Creo, PowerMill.
• Solid GD&T understanding and ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize NC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling and turning operations.
• Generate toolpaths using CAM software (Mastercam, CATIA, Creo, PowerMill) and verify using simulation.
• Create setup sheets, tooling documentation, and operator instructions.
• Select machining strategies, tooling, and cutting parameters to improve productivity.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Eng, Tooling, Quality, and Production to resolve issues.
• Review and implement changes to NC programs and libraries.
• Monitor performance and reduce cycle times and scrap through continuous improvement.
