Job summary

A manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Programmer to develop and modify CNC programs for production runs. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with programming in 3- and 5-axis CNC mills or lathes and familiarity with CAD programs MasterCAM and NX. Responsibilities include analyzing drawings, maintaining tooling databases, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues. Qualifications

• Must be able to pass drug screening.
• 5+ years experience with programming in 3- 5-axis CNC mills or Lathes.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs for production runs.
• Analyze drawings to determine dimensions and choose cutting tools.
• Modify existing programs for different machines.
• Maintain tooling database.
• Make manual program adjustments as necessary.
• Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process.

Skills

Experience programming 3- and 5-axis CNC mills

Familiarity with MasterCAM

Familiarity with NX

Basic math skills

Education

AA diploma or equivalent

Completion of a technical or associate degree program
