Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, or similar).
• Experience with 5-axis programming is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machinery, tooling, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience using precision measurement tools for inspection and validation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM software for mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines.
• Interpret drawings, 3D models, and specs to determine machining strategies.
• Select tooling, parameters, and settings based on material and design requirements.
• Optimize tool paths, setups, and cycle times for efficiency and precision.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
• Revise CNC programs for design changes and production needs.
• Support implementation of process improvements and best practices.
• Perform inspections to ensure conformance to drawings and quality standards.
