Tate Red Lion Plant 2 in Red Lion, PA is seeking a CNC Programmer who translates engineering designs into machining strategies for mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines.

You will develop and optimize CNC programs, select tooling and parameters, inspect parts, and support process improvements while collaborating with machinists and engineers.

Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidCAM) and 5-axis programming is preferred; experience reading drawings is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM software for mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines.
• Interpret drawings, 3D models, and technical specs to determine machining strategies.
• Select tooling, cutting parameters, and machine settings based on material and design requirements.
• Optimize tool paths, setups, and cycle times for efficiency and precision.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and improve processes.
• Revise CNC programs to support design changes and production needs.
