The Opportunity As a CNC Programmer, you will be instrumental in translating engineering designs into precise machine instructions, ensuring the efficient and accurate production of high-quality components. You will work with cutting-edge technology, collaborating closely with engineers and machinists to optimize processes and maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship. This role requires a meticulous approach, a strong understanding of manufacturing principles, and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, write, and edit CNC programs for various machines, including mills and lathes.
Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine optimal machining processes.
Select appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and feed rates.
Perform program simulations and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement continuous improvements.
Maintain accurate documentation of programs and processes.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software.
Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
