Job description

Are you a skilled CNC Programmer ready to take your career to the next level? We're looking for a motivated professional to join our client's manufacturing team and play a key role in creating precision components that power innovative industries. In this hands-on role, you'll write and optimize CNC programs, collaborate with engineers and machinists, and ensure every part meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.



Schedule: 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Pay Rate: $30 - $32/hr.



What You'll Do:

• Develop and write CNC programs for mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines using software like Mastercam, Fusion 360, or SolidCAM


• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the best machining strategies and tooling


• Set up and troubleshoot machines during initial runs to ensure program accuracy


• Recommend cutting tools, speeds, and feeds to optimize production


• Work closely with machinists, engineers, and supervisors to improve part accuracy and reduce cycle time


• Perform first article inspections and contribute to quality assurance processes


• Maintain an organized CNC program library and ensure proper documentation

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in CNC programming within a manufacturing environment


• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and G-code


• Strong understanding of machining techniques, materials, and tooling


• Ability to read complex blueprints and apply GD&T principles


• Sharp attention to detail and problem-solving mindset


• Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude

Preferred but Not Required:

• Associate's degree or technical certification in CNC machining


• Experience with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis CNC machines


• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
