Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing CNC programs to produce high-quality precision parts. This is a critical role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our machines operate efficiently and effectively.

Duties:

1. Develop CNC programs using CAM programming software such as Mastercam
2. Set up and operate CNC machines, including milling machines
3. Collaborate with engineers and designers to interpret schematics and blueprints
4. Perform precision measurements using coordinate measuring machines and precision measuring instruments
5. Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the CNC machines or programs
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area
8. Adhere to lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role
2. Proficient in CAM programming software, such as Mastercam
3. Strong mathematical skills for calculations and measurements
4. Knowledge of programming languages used in CNC machining
5. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machines
6. Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints accurately
7. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
