We are a custom machine shop seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in G&M code programming and Mastercam, with a strong background in setting up and optimizing CNC machines for efficient and accurate production.

Specific Qualifications

Duties may include:

• Commitment to a safe work environment, quality product, and teamwork.
• Program CNC mills using G&M code and Mastercam for a wide range of complex parts and materials
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Selection appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds based on materials and specifications.
• Set up and prove out programs on the shop floor, making adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with machinists to refine and optimize machining processes.
• Maintain program files and documentation in an organized and accessible manner.
• Troubleshoot issues related to programming, tooling, and machining operations.
• Ensure all parts meet quality standards and tolerances
• 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a machine shop environment.
• Proficiency in Mastercam and manual G&M code programming
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tool selection, and material properties.
• Ability to work from 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Familiarity with GD&T and precision measurement tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
