Job summary

Mancan Staffing is assisting a North Lawrence, KY manufacturer to fill an experienced CNC Machinist role. You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, write and optimize CNC programs, and read blueprints and CAD models.

This full-time, on-site position offers a Monday-Friday shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a pay rate BOE. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience, proficiency with multi-axis machining, and strong attention to quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience (lathe, mill, or both).
• Proven ability to write and modify CNC programs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision parts.
• Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code or CAM-generated).
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job.
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs as needed.
• Maintain machines and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes.

Shift: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: BOE

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision parts
