Job description

Description

Do you enjoy solving manufacturing problems that others can't? Do you take pride in creating efficient machining processes, improving cycle times, and helping machinists succeed on the shop floor? Are you the type of programmer who sees opportunities for improvement everywhere you look?

If you're a technically strong, highly accountable CNC Programmer who thrives in a precision-driven manufacturing environment, Stewart Precision may be the ideal long-term home for you.

Who Are We?

Stewart Precision is the rapid-response leader in turnkey precision machining and threading solutions for the oilfield and aerospace industries.

We are a strategic supplier to some of the largest aerospace and oilfield companies in the world, delivering large-diameter, complex components that require tight tolerances, technical expertise, and flawless execution.

Our reputation is built on three commitments:

Uncompromising Quality. Rapid Response. Expertly Executed.

What You'll Do
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CNC programs for lathes, mills, mill-turns, and VTLs
  • Create machining strategies, tooling selections, and work holding solutions for complex components
  • Support production by troubleshooting programming, tooling, threading, and dimensional issues
  • Program API, premium, and customer-specific threaded connections
  • Develop setup sheets, tooling sheets, and program documentation
  • Maintain programming standards and revision control
  • Partner with machinists, quality personnel, engineering, and operations to improve manufacturing performance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, setup reduction, quality improvements, and machining efficiency
What We're Looking For

We're not looking for basic programming proficiency. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of quality, efficiency, and manufacturing performance.

  • Someone who takes ownership of machining processes and continuously looks for ways to improve them
  • Demonstrated excellence programming CNC lathes, mills, mill-turns, and Fanuc-controlled equipment
  • Experience programming threaded products, oilfield components, aerospace components, or other high-precision manufactured products
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, tooling selection, and machining strategy
  • Someone who is comfortable supporting machinists on the shop floor and solving production challenges
  • A problem solver who values quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience with CNC lathes and mills using Fanuc controls
  • Experience programming threaded products, oil & gas components, or precision-machined parts preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
Benefits
  • Highly employee-favorable healthcare plans
  • Dental and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • A vacation buyback program for any unused PTO
