Job summary

Wipro Givon USA is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to write, modify, and test programs for multi-axis CNC machines in a team environment. The role requires reading blueprints and specifications, plus prior five-axis programming in NCL and related machining experience.

The position involves coordinating start-ups, assisting in troubleshooting, tool selection, and ongoing program optimization to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Strong MS Office skills and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and tooling concepts.
• Program five-axis CNC machines in NCL with relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Writes and/or modifies CNC programs and instruction sheets for multi-axis machined parts.
• Coordinates program start-ups in manufacturing, assists in troubleshooting and provides recommendations for cutting tools.
• Monitors performance of program after implementation, making adjustments as needed.
• Evaluates requests for new or modified programs to determine feasibility, cost, and time estimates.
• Maintains program files.
• Analyzes, reviews, and recommends modifications to existing programs to increase operating efficiency, reduce costs, improve processes, and/or adapt to new or changing requirements.
• Trains other Programmers as needed or required.
• Provides technical assistance.
• Meets established standards for productivity and quality.
• Confers with supervisor when problems arise which impact expected level of performance.

Abilities - Are you a good fit

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret customer blueprints/specifications, purchase orders, tooling concepts, manufacturing processes, technical procedures, operating instructions, etc.
• Previous experience programming five-axis CNC machines in NCL plus four years machining experience preferred. CATIA/CADKEY experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs
• Works well in team environment
