Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00

Role Overview

The CNC Programmer will create manufacturing methods, CNC programs and all related items to produce a quality part using a repeatable process.

Essential Functions

• Review and sign off engineering drawings for EO changes and parts for new product.
• Write G-Code and conversational programs for CNC lathes, CNC mills and multi-axis CNC machines.
• Provide tool lists and necessary setup documentation to operators for successful part creation.
• Design simple fixtures, form cutting tools and manufacturing aids and work with teammates in the appropriate area for on‑time completion.
• Provide coaching and technical support for program prove‑out and manufacturing challenges.
• Develop the proper process to create parts from raw material or modify existing inventory and maintain part routing in ERP system.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering to determine manufacturability of prototypes and future design.
• Understand proper inspection methods and quality gaging.
• Utilize and create documents in the Conax Technologies Wiki.
• Exemplify core values of integrity, commitment, innovative thinking, customer centric, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years machining experience.
• 3-5 Years machine programming experience.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent computer skills – proficient in MS Excel and Word.

Additional Requirements

Successful Candidate must be able to meet U.S. export control requirements (ITAR/EAR) to gain access to technical data. This position requires access to technology that is subject to U.S. export control regulations. Candidates must be eligible for employment in the US and meet the requirements of ITAR.
