ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Create CNC programs for lathes and horizontal/vertical machining centers.
2. Work with machine operators to prove out programs and answer questions.
3. Assist Manufacturing Engineers in developing and implementing manufacturing methods, fixtures, and gauging.
4. Investigate and update manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
5. Create documentation for new parts, including tool records, process drawings, inspection records, etc., and update existing documentation when changes occur.
6. Provide cost estimates for manufacturing processes.
7. Ensure compliance with the quality system requirements.
8. Engage in special manufacturing projects as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma with 3 years of relevant experience; a technical degree in CNC programming (2-year program) and/or 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
2. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAM software; experience with SolidWorks and/or Esprit CAM software is a plus.
3. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical designs, drawings, blueprints, and test results.
4. Intermediate to advanced math skills.
5. Good written and verbal communication skills.
6. Strong analytical skills; capable of problem definition, data collection, and drawing valid conclusions.
7. Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
