Job summary

Johnson Controls in Burlington, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to set up, calibrate, and operate production machines in a fast-paced facility. You will inspect tolerances, follow SOPs, and collaborate with engineers on improvements while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires five days onsite per week, with opportunities for hands-on experience in cutting‑edge thermal and manufacturing technologies and solid career development potential.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate production machines.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions.
• Inspect machining operations and finished products against tolerances using precision tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Operate a CNC production machine per established procedures.
• Use laser cutting machines for metal sheet stack forging.
• Control and adjust machine settings to meet specifications.
• Inspect materials and products for quality and report discrepancies.
• Collaborate with engineers on R&D and process improvements.
• Role requires 5 days onsite per week.
