Job summary

VSP Technologies is hiring a Production Technician to fabricate gaskets, package and ship fluid sealing products, and provide excellent service to internal and external customers.

You will operate CNC equipment or work by hand, receive and fill orders, maintain quality, perform preventive maintenance, move materials with a forklift, label products, manage inventory, and ensure on-time delivery. Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience relating to the duties is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and TWIC card where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate finished gaskets from various materials with CNC equipment or by hand with efficient material use.
• Receive, document, and fill orders in accordance with sales/purchase orders.
• Ensure quality standards as per the Quality Manual.
• Perform weekly and monthly preventive maintenance on machines/equipment.
• Operate a forklift/hand truck to move material in plant and to/from trucks.
• Attach labels/tags/information to products and packages accurately.
• Maintain inventory stocking levels; order, receive, and restock finished goods and raw materials.
• Package and ship finished goods per orders.
• Provide accurate delivery/shipment tracking information.
• Work safely to protect health and environment.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area following safety regulations.
• Deliver finished product to customers as needed.
