Job summary

Johnson Controls in Burlington, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for 3rd shift to support production. You will set up and operate CNC and laser cutting equipment, inspect parts to tight tolerances, and perform routine maintenance to keep lines running smoothly.

Ideal candidates will read schematics, follow SOPs, and maintain high standards of safety and quality in a fast‑paced environment. This role requires onsite presence five days a week.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
• Able to perform daily manufacturing activities and operate or set up machines per SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibration and operation of machines in production.
• Follow verbal or written instructions and SOPs.
• Inspect machining operations and finished products against tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Operate CNC production machines and laser cutting equipment as required.
• Communicate discrepancies to supervisors; collaborate with engineers on improvements.
• This role requires 5 days onsite per week.
