Specialized Talent Acquisition Recruiting Team (START) is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to run and monitor multiple CNC machining centers, set up fixtures, and own cell maintenance. You will perform first-piece verification, troubleshoot tooling, and complete daily production documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC operation and troubleshooting skills, including robot position adjustments via teach pendant.
• General computer proficiency and familiarity with shop-floor devices (SAP handheld scanners, calculators, printers, calipers).
• Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and Q1 standards.

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor multiple CNC machining centers, setting machine controls and installing fixtures.
• Own your cell: set-ups, tooling repairs, and troubleshooting are part of your toolkit.
• Perform first-piece verification and adjust tooling to maintain dimensional integrity and finish.
• Conduct quality checks as specified by Quality Control and flag defects to Team Leader/Supervision.
• Complete production documentation daily (production reports, PPLH, TAKT, scrap reports).
• Participate in Elimination of Waste Team meetings and help drive continuous improvement.
• Manually position and remove tools safely and precisely.
• Support broader company objectives by meeting throughput, quality, and safety targets.
