Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. is hiring a CNC Production Operator in Lima, Ohio to operate CNC lathes and mills, interpret blueprints, and ensure parts meet quality standards. Training is provided and the role is fully on-site.

Starting pay is $25.32–$26.82 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekly pay; candidates should have at least 1 year of CNC experience and be able to work unsupervised with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical certificate is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year CNC experience.
• Able to work unsupervised and comprehend verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce parts per prints.
• Set up machines with tools, fixtures, and materials.
• Load/unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Record inspection data and report deviations.

Wieland is hiring a CNC Production Operator. The CNC Production Operator will be responsible for operating CNC lathes and mills, interpreting parts prints, using manual gauging, and meeting production rates and quality standards is helpful; however, training is provided for qualified individuals.This role is located in Lima, Ohio and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $25.32 - $26.82

Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00PM-11:00PM (training period 7:00AM-3:00PM)

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Responsibilities

CNC Production Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.) to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Set up machines by installing and aligning tools, fixtures, and materials.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and offsets to maintain part quality.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Verify dimensions and surface finishes meet print or process requirements.
• Record inspection data and report deviations or defects promptly.
• Follow and maintain quality control procedures.

CNC Production Operator Qualifications:

• High School Diploma; technical certificate is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year CNC Experience
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
