You will lead process development, cycle-time reduction, fixture design, GD&T validation, and CAD/CAM assignments, mentoring team members as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Manufacturing or Process Engineering experience focused heavily on precision CNC machining.
• Strong fluency in GD&T, blueprint reading, cutting feeds and speeds, and advanced workholding practices.
• CAM software experience (Mastercam strongly preferred) and CAD design software (SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD).
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Technology preferred—however, degree not strictly required with strong hands-on depth.
• Shop-floor mindset with proactive collaboration with machinists and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive Machining Process Optimization: lead process development, cycle-time reduction, and real-time troubleshooting across multi‑axis mills and lathes.
• Evaluate Prints & Machining Strategies: analyze customer prints, 3D models, and GD&T specs to establish optimal operation sequences and fixtures.
• Develop Manufacturing Documentation: create process plans, setup sheets, tooling packages, and standardized work instructions.
• Design Fixtures & Select Tooling: assist with workholding fixtures and tool trials using CAD and CAM tools.
• Partner with Shop Floor Teams: collaborate with machinists, setup technicians, and QA inspectors to resolve variances and review CMM reports.
• Execute Continuous Improvement: lead Lean/5S initiatives to maximize tool life and throughput.
