Operating out of modern facilities in the Menomonee Falls area, you will enjoy private office space, direct collaboration with shop leadership, and a clear path into formal engineering leadership as the department continues to grow.

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)
  • Drive Machining Process Optimization: Serve as the primary hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer for CNC operations, leading process development, cycle‑time reduction, and real‑time troubleshooting across multi‑axis mills and lathes.
  • Evaluate Prints & Machining Strategies: Analyze customer prints, 3D models, and GD&T specifications to establish optimal sequences of operation, cutting parameters, and workholding methods.

  • Execute Continuous Improvement: Lead Lean/5S initiatives to maximize tool life, minimize scrap, optimize throughput, and manage customer‑driven engineering revisions.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)
  • 3+ years of Manufacturing or Process Engineering experience focused heavily on precision CNC machining (castings, forgings, structural steel, aluminum).
  • Technical Mastery: Strong fluency in GD&T, blueprint reading, cutting feeds and speeds, and advanced workholding practices.
  • CAD/CAM Competency: Practical experience utilizing CAM software (Mastercam strongly preferred) and CAD design software (SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD).
  • Education & Experience Balance: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Technology preferred—however, a degree is NOT strictly required if backed by strong hands‑on CNC setup and process engineering depth.
  • Shop-Floor Mindset: A proactive, collaborative approach to walking the floor, solving problems alongside machinists, and bridging engineering concepts with production realities.
