Job summary

Jensen Metal Products, Inc. in Racine, WI is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Setup & Programmer to join our manufacturing team. You will program, set up, and operate CNC press brakes to produce high-quality sheet metal components to customer specifications.

The ideal candidate can read blueprints, determine bend sequences, select tooling, perform complete machine setups, and verify parts from first piece through production with attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC press brake programming, setup, and operation.
• Experience reading blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Ability to determine tooling and bend sequences from drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
• Experience with Amada and/or Safan Darley is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program, setup, and operate CNC press brake equipment to produce precision sheet metal components.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine tooling, bend sequences, and machine setup requirements.
• Select, install, and align tooling to ensure efficient production and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Verify part dimensions and quality standards while maintaining required production rates.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and forming issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and daily equipment inspections.
• Accurately record production and quality information as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with production, quality, engineering, and leadership teams to meet customer and production requirements.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
